कला Connect Art Exhibition – Participation Terms & Guidelines

 

1. Exhibition Overview

• Event Name: कला Connect Art Exhibition 2025
• Dates: 30th May 2025, 31st May 2025, 01st June 2025
• Venue: Nehru Centre, Mumbai, India
• Eligibility: Open to all galleries, renowned, professional, and emerging artists globally. Artworks can be of any theme, medium, or style.

2. Application and Selection Process

• Application Submission: All participants must complete an online or offline booking form and adhere to the provided instructions. An active email address is mandatory for communication purposes.
• Originality of Artwork: Artists must ensure that all submitted artworks are original and not copied from any existing artist, institution, or organization. The artist retains all copyrights and is responsible for the work’s originality.
• Selection Committee: A jury will review all submissions, and their selection decisions are final.

3. Booth Allocation and Specifications

• Booth Allocation: Booths will be assigned based on art style and concept. The final layout will be shared with exhibitors after the complete allocation process.
• Booth Specifications:
• Standard booth construction with panels up to 8 feet (2.44 meters) in height.
• One Fascia Name per booth
• One spotlight per meter (approximately 3.3 feet).
• Standard carpet flooring.
• Furniture: Booths of 4 square meters or larger will include 2 chairs and 1 counter table. Smaller booths will have adjusted furniture provisions.
• One 230V, 5Amp AC supply socket.
• Customization: Extra walls, panels, lighting, or furniture beyond the basic structure will incur additional charges. A detailed list of available items and rates will be provided in the Exhibitor Manual.

4. Fees and Payments

• Booth Rent: The booth rent is non-refundable. Once booked, cancellations are not permitted; please ensure your commitment to participate before booking.
• Payment Method: Payments should be made only to the official bank account provided by the organizers. Cash payments or payments to personal accounts are not accepted. Always request a GST invoice upon payment.
• Payment Deadline: If you fail to complete the full payment before 10th May, the organizers reserve the right to cancel your booking without refunding any amount paid in installments.

5. Responsibilities and Liabilities

• Publicity: The organizer will handle publicity within the budget and capacity but is not responsible for footfall or sales outcomes.
• Insurance: Exhibitors are responsible for insuring their artworks and belongings against loss, damage, theft, fire, or any other risks during the exhibition. The organizer will not be liable for any such incidents.
• Security: General venue security will be provided, but individual booth security is the exhibitor’s responsibility.
• Compliance: Exhibitors must adhere to all venue rules and regulations concerning safety and maintenance.

6. Artwork Authenticity

• Exhibitors warrant that all information provided is truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
• The organizer reserves the right to remove any work that does not comply with these terms.

7. Artwork Display & Setup

• Exhibitors are responsible for the transportation and installation of their artwork.
• The use of nails, screws, or any materials that may damage the panels is prohibited.
• Hanging solutions will be provided by the organizers.
• Exhibitors cannot display or paste the name/logo of any gallery anywhere on the stall except the standard fascia name provided by the organizer.
• Any unauthorized displays will be removed without prior notice, and the organizer will not be responsible for any resulting damage.

8. Sales & Commission

• Exhibitors must inform the organizer of each artwork sold.
• No sold artwork will be allowed to leave the venue without the organizer’s permission.
• Exhibitors can directly sell their artwork at the exhibition.
• No commission will be charged on sales.
• Exhibitors must handle their own invoicing and taxation compliance.
• Sales tax and GST, if applicable, are the Exhibitor’s responsibility.

9. Amendments and Disputes

• Terms Modification: The organizer reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue any terms of the exhibition at any time.
• Jurisdiction: All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai, India.

10. Agreement

• By booking a booth, exhibitors agree to all the terms and conditions outlined above. The organizer reserves the right to cancel any booking if these terms are violated.
